About us
Jared Bullock
Jared Bullock is the co-founder of Foundry Athletics, bringing leadership, and purpose to every athlete who walks through our doors. A former U.S. Army Special Forces soldier, Jared served his country with honor in multiple deployments before his military career was forever changed. In 2013, while serving overseas, Jared was critically injured, losing his right arm and right leg in combat.

In 2018, Jared, alongside his wife Jessica, founded Foundry Athletics with a vision: to create a place where athletes of all ages could forge physical and mental strength, develop discipline, and train in an environment built on resilience and community.

Jared’s approach to training mirrors the very principles that guided him through his Special Forces career—preparation, adaptability, precision, and an unwavering focus on the mission. His programming philosophy is built on proven strength and conditioning systems, emphasizing movement quality, building capacity, and delivering the minimum effective dose to achieve maximum results. His athletes learn not only how to train hard, but how to train smart—developing the physical tools and mental toughness to excel in sport and life.

As a mentor, Jared has played a pivotal role in shaping the coaching and programming style of Griff, who runs the Baseball Development Programs. Together, they share the same core philosophy: raise the floor to raise the ceiling. Their collaboration ensures that every program at Foundry—whether for strength and conditioning, mobility, baseball development, or athlete mentorship—delivers a consistent, high-performance standard rooted in discipline, quality, and results.

Jared’s leadership has transformed Foundry Athletics into more than a gym; it’s a home for athletes to not only improve performance but also to learn the value of hard work, respect, and resilience in the face of challenges.

Josh Griffin
A five-year collegiate baseball player (thanks to Covid), Griff understands firsthand the demands athletes face—both on the field and in the weight room—and has dedicated his career to preparing athletes to excel in every aspect of their sport. Over the course of his career, Griff started 140 games at Trevecca Nazarene University and more than 300 games total in college, bringing a wealth of competitive experience to his coaching.

Griff’s coaching journey has been deeply connected to Foundry from the start. While home from college, he trained and coached alongside Jared, learning the principles, systems, and attention to detail that define Foundry’s approach. When away at school, he continued developing his craft by training athletes on his own—bringing back new ideas, experiences, and perspectives to share with Jared.

At Foundry, Griff oversees the Baseball Development Program, blending strength and conditioning, hitting classes, nutrition education, and recruiting mentorship into a complete, individualized training experience. His coaching mirrors the same philosophies he learned under Jared’s mentorship. Every program is built to improve movement quality, build strength, and prepare athletes to meet the demands of both their sport and life—while keeping training challenging, competitive, and enjoyable.

Whether working with middle school athletes taking their first steps into performance training or college and pro players looking for their edge, Griff’s leadership ensures every athlete trains in a supportive, high-performance environment designed for long-term success.
